Supporting Newborns and Their Mothers

Each year, United Way of Chautauqua County hosts the Community Baby Shower — a county-wide collection drive that provides essential items to local mothers and their newborn babies.

This year, Community Baby Shower will run May 1st through June 11th.

This initiative brings together individuals, businesses, and community partners to ensure that families have the resources they need to give their children a healthy start in life.

Because when families are supported from the very beginning, our entire community is stronger.

Why It Matters

Through the Community Baby Shower, United Way helps ensure that local mothers have access to basic essentials that support the health, safety, and development of their newborns.

Help doesn’t just happen. It’s a choice. Through the support of Chautauqua County residents, United Way and its community partner agencies are able to provide items which are critical for the continued health and development of these newborn children.

When you join the 2025 United Way Community Baby Shower, you are giving more families a good start — and that builds a stronger community for us all.
