Lisa Sunday serves as Director of Finance for the United Way of Chautauqua County, where she oversees the organization’s financial operations and ensures strong stewardship of resources that support community impact.
Lisa joined the United Way of Northern Chautauqua County in 2014 as Operations Officer and SEFA Coordinator, where she also served as Finance and Operations Manager, a role she held through June 2024. As the two United Ways began sharing services, Lisa expanded her responsibilities, serving as Finance and Administration Manager for the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County from January 2022 through June 2024. Following the merger of the two organizations, she was appointed Director of Finance.
Throughout her tenure, Lisa has played a key role in strengthening financial systems, supporting organizational sustainability, and guiding the organization through a period of significant growth and structural change.
Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a focus on nonprofit accounting and management. She is married to Ed Sunday, and they have two children.
