Katie Castro was appointed Director of Advancement for United Way of Southern Chautauqua County in May 2024. In her role, she is responsible for cultivating donor relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and overseeing initiatives that drive growth and long-term impact in southern Chautauqua County.
Prior to joining United Way, Katie was the founder and principal of Ally Co, a local venture and consulting studio serving businesses and nonprofits. She has also been active in her community as a member of the preaching team at Zion Covenant Church, a board member of the Chautauqua Leadership Network, and a member of the Women Speakers Collective.
A Bemus Point native and graduate of Maple Grove High School, Katie spent several years living and working in Honduras before returning home to Bemus Point. She and her husband, Javier, are parents to three children.
