Eric Rinaldo joined United Way as Community Impact Manager in December 2023. In this role, he supports United Way’s community impact strategy by working closely with partner agencies, volunteers, and stakeholders to strengthen programs, align resources, and drive collective outcomes.

Eric provides administrative oversight of United Way’s community investments and the allocations process that guides how donor dollars are distributed each funding cycle. He plays a key role in engaging community partners and supporting efforts that advance shared priorities and measurable impact across the region.

Eric brings a strong background in nonprofit work, education, and data-informed leadership. He previously spent five years at the John McConnell Math and Science Center in Colorado, where he collaborated with school district leaders to develop curriculum, wrote grants, and trained college intern teachers. More recently, he applied his leadership and analytical skills as a team leader with both Target and Wegmans.

Originally from Jamestown, Eric is a graduate of Southwestern High School and now resides in Bemus Point. He is married to Tonja Rinaldo, and together they have two sons.
