Amy Rohler was appointed Executive Director of the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County in 2017 and now serves as Executive Director of the United Way of Chautauqua County. Under her leadership, the two United Ways in the county successfully merged following several years of shared services and partnership—strengthening the organization’s ability to mobilize resources, align systems, and respond to evolving community needs.

Prior to joining United Way, Amy served as Executive Director of Community Helping Hands for eight years. During her tenure, the organization expanded from a thrift store addressing emergency clothing and household needs into a comprehensive family center, later adding relationship-based workforce development programming. Her work has consistently focused on collaboration, problem-solving, and creating pathways for lasting community change.

Before moving to Chautauqua County in 2009, Amy lived in New York City, where she and her husband, the Rev. Adam Rohler, co-pastored a church in the United Nations neighborhood on Manhattan’s East Side. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Seattle Pacific University, a Master of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary, and a Master of Religion from Yale Divinity School.

Amy is active in the community and was honored in 2024 with the Pam Lydic Coalition Builder Award by the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce, recognizing her leadership in collaboration and systems-building across the region. Originally from Oregon, she has lived in Chautauqua County since 2009. Amy and her husband have two children.
